Wow! So I'll start off by saying that I've been following Ali on the multiple online social media avenues and I LOVE HER! She says what she means and means what she says and I look forward to my daily doses of lickable sexy as hell men!!!! ;)With that said, I've had this trilogy on my TBR for quite some time and FINALLY put everything else aside and tore into it part 1 this morning! Holy HOTNESS Batman!
Ali takes us through the journey of the BDSM world from a beginners eyes as she explains the basic ins and outs of what is expected of the submissive and the Dom. Then, there's a twist!!!!! Actually, several Twists!!! The story has you excited, possibly in need of a spare pair of undies ;) after some of the scenes! she leads you to the unknown and the totally unexpected!
I can't wait to see Ali has in store for us in book 2!!!

What she gets from the meeting is more than she bargained for. Warning - You will probably want to have book two handy to jump into after you finish this book.
For the most part this was a cute story. The author keeps you guessing as to who Sir is and builds anticipation to their first real meeting. For me the second book was a must read the minute I finished the first book.

When Lia is introduced to the BDSM scene by her friend, she finds herself becoming very curious about the lifestyle and begins an online relationship with a mysterious dominant. Although they have never met, Lia finds herself drawn to her very private online lover.
Do not want to spoil anything for the reader, so all I will say is to please do yourself a favour and read this book. It's quick and ends on a cliffhanger. Ali Reynolds has done a remarkable job with her story and I suspect she has lots of surprises up her sleeve.
Innocence, is a delightful characteristic, but not when it involves the dark side that exists in our unfathomable/sometimes confusing world.
The saying is, 'Love is blind'. How true.
Quite unlike other erotica I have read (and pleasantly surprising), a lesson unfolds within these pages; innocence can lead to the macabre.
Clever, and well written.
Newcomer Ali Reynolds knocked it out of the park!! What a fantastic story -- she's got a plot, she's got sex, and she's got great characters who become more evolved as the book goes on. She left me wanting more and, in my mind, that's the mark of a good book. I can't wait to see what you have in store for Lia in book 2, Ali! GREAT JOB and way to make your mark on the genre!
Sometimes you get what you pay for. Given it was free, it wouldn't be fair to rant about the horrendous lack of editing or stilted dialogue, would it? If you can overlook those things, and aren't easily distracted by glaring errors, you might enjoy the actual story more than I did.
I don't think there's enough words to describe how I feel about this book. As soon as I heard about it I knew I had to have it and I can honestly say it was truly worth the wait. It's left me in shock and wanting more. I know what most will think is that it's going to be like every other book, but it's not it has a delicious, dark twist to it unlike many others. I'm not going to go into a lot of details because I don't want to give anything away but I will say I wasn't expecting that at all and I highly recommend it.

This was the first book in a new series too me and this book does have a cliffhanger. I am looking forward to reading the next book.
